Aisle Candy Editorial in New York
I love Manhattan and vintage romance and can't imagine anything better than combining the two. Katie, the founder and editor of Aisle Candy and I created this shoot during our trip to New York City for Bridal Market. We collaborated to put together a Manhattan 'dream team' of vendors (see below for details) and were lucky enough to be able to shoot in a breathtaking location that embodied everything we were looking for.
The concept for this shoot started with Anthropologie's new bridal line BHLDN pronounced "beholden", the name is inspired by the Dutch word meaning "to keep". The collection (which now ranges from gowns and accessories to decor and details) is beautiful, feminine, fresh and has an old world feel. I feel in love with this line as soon as it launched and somehow it keeps getting better. We quickly put together a soft vintage theme based around a romantic pastel color palette with gold accents.
I am thrilled that this shoot is featured today on Style Me Pretty and on Aisle Candy with a complete buying guide as well as a detailed DIY! Thank you so much to our talented team, your contributions truly brought this shoot to life!
